Twils' History

Originating in 1982, the Twils brand began life as a textile manufacturer in Italy. With a name derived of the initials of their children, the Carnieletto Family built the business into an industrial icon of Italian furniture, covering beds, sofas, armchairs and more in their new era of production.

Growing and expanding their knowledge of fabrics and textiles, Vilma Carnieletto leads their innovative research into not only using quality fabrics but in producing them sustainably and in accordance with predicted yearly trends.

Never straying from their Italian origins, their Made in Italy stamp has maintained a core part of the Twils brand and business throughout, working with Italian artisans and craftsmen to deliver the same high standard of quality today as it did back in the first days of production.
