The AWASE Wooden Bed with Woven Headboard by Bolzan, designed by Studio Omi Tahara, brings Japanese tradition into dialogue with a contemporary ash-wood frame. The headboard is covered in handwoven rattan, creating an open, tactile surface that evokes nature and a sense of quiet beyond the city. Light passes through the weave, softening the boundary behind the bed and revealing the craftsmanship of its repeated pattern.

Natural finishes allow the timber grain to remain visible and reinforce the authenticity of the woven material. AWASE combines these different surfaces without excess: a precise wooden structure, a headboard made by hand and an atmosphere shaped by solids and openings.

However, the full range is not limited to what you see online. If you have a specific piece in mind or have seen something from the brand’s wider collection, we can often source it for you directly.

This design also offers extensive customisation across finishes, materials, sizes, and details. Whether you know exactly what you want or need guidance, our team can help you explore the best options for your space, review samples, and create a piece that feels perfectly suited to your home.

Made-to-order furniture is designed for those looking for a more personalised, design-led way to furnish their home. Each piece is crafted specifically for you once your order is confirmed, allowing you to choose from a range of finishes, materials, dimensions, and design details to suit your space and style.

This approach is ideal for anyone seeking bespoke, high-quality furniture that feels considered and individual to their home.

Because each item is made to your specifications, made-to-order furniture requires a longer production lead time, reflecting the craftsmanship involved in producing a piece tailored to you.

Feedback from our community

We bought a garden set at Milola. Charlotte was very helpful going through all the brochures and finding us the perfect set. Fast and excellent delivery. Although one settee got some damage during transport, Charlotte got on the case and arranged a new one. Superb customer service. We are very happy with our furniture and it's like we created another room outside. We would definitely recommend Milola!

Fantastic craftsmanship and service! Our dining table looks amazing and it's just a perfect fit in our dining room and the build quality is just perfect. Thanks Charlotte for the guidance and provided support!

Thanks to Charlotte for her amazing customer service at her lovely place in Blonay. We chose the Monogram solid wood table which is absolutely beautiful and very high quality. Milola stocks a lot of gorgeous brands - it's great to have something a bit different to many options in Switzerland. Fantastic process from ordering to delivery. Thanks!

Milola were really helpful in showing the different options and they clearly go beyond just selling a product to you, they care that it is the right product for you and your space. I'll definitely buy from them again.

Charlotte gave wonderful personalised service when helping me to decide on chairs and coffee table for our living room. She visited my home and brought swatches of material, wood choices and even the chair that I was interested in to see if it was in keeping with the space. My furniture was delivered and assembled on site by Milola's team. Amazing experience from start to finish. Thank you!
Edwina C.

Highly recommend Milola! We ordered two custom beds with storage for our chalet, after an extensive search for a local Swiss company. So grateful we found this woman-owned company. Absolutely exceeded our expectations. Beautifully crafted and high quality. Reasonably priced. Delivered door to door within the specified delivery timings. Thoroughly professional service. Will definitely recommend this company to our friends and buy from Milola again!
Christina P.

We received and unpacked all the Caso furniture and it is really gorgeous! We're incredibly happy with the design, quality and delivery. It's always a bit scary to buy only based on pictures but the pieces all exceeded our expectations. Thanks so much again for orchestrating this!
